Lucero is a neighbourhood of Madrid in the Latina district. It is bordered by Casa de Campo to the north, by Aluche to the west and south, and by Puerta del Ángel and Los Cármenes to the east.
It was formed in the forties as state-built housing for workers who came mostly from the south and southeast of Spain. Its old boundary was the railway line that linked the capital with the towns of southwest Madrid.
