Opañel is an administrative neighbourhood of Madrid belonging to the Carabanchel district. It lies in the south-west of the capital, within the Community of Madrid.

The Avenida de Oporto marks its southern edge, General Ricardos street its northern and western edges, and Antonio Leyva street its eastern edge. It borders Comillas to the north-east, San Isidro to the north-west, and Puerta Bonita and Abrantes to the south.
