Get to know Luque

Luque is a municipality in the south of the province of Córdoba, in Andalusia. It is known for its white streets, its charming fountains and the natural setting of the Sierra Subbética.

An Islamic castle, popularly called the Venceaire, has watched over the town for centuries, and megalithic remains recall its prehistoric past. The parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, nicknamed the Cathedral of the Subbética, is its great monument. The municipality has a single hamlet, the Luque station.
