Llívia is a town in the comarca of Cerdanya, in Catalonia, completely surrounded by French territory. It is a Spanish exclave because of the Treaty of the Pyrenees of 1659. It has 1562 inhabitants and is named after Livia, the wife of Augustus.
It is made up of Llívia, Cereja and Gorguja, and the Segre river flows through it. A corridor about 1.6 km wide separates it from the rest of Spain. The municipal museum holds the Esteve Pharmacy, one of the oldest in Europe, documented since 1594, and the castle stands in ruins.
