Get to know Llevant

Llevant is a comarca on the east side of Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, and its name is Catalan for east. The Mediterranean bounds it to the north and east, and on land it borders Pla to the west and Migjorn to the south. Like the other Balearic comarcas, it is recognised only geographically.

Manacor is its historic capital and its largest and most populous municipality. Capdepera, Son Servera, Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Artà complete the comarca. Former tennis player Rafael Nadal was made Marquess of Llevant de Mallorca.
