Laxe is a town and municipality in the province of A Coruña, in Galicia, in the comarca of Bergantiños. It lies in the centre of the Costa da Morte, on the south side of the Corme and Laxe estuary, and has 2883 inhabitants (2025).

Its bay is sheltered from Atlantic winds and has broad sandy beaches. It borders Zas, Vimianzo, Cabana de Bergantiños and Camariñas, and is divided into the parishes of Laxe, Santiago de Traba, San Simón de Nande, San Esteban de Soesto, Santa María de Serantes and San Mamed de Sarces.
