Vall d'Albaida is a Valencian-speaking comarca in the south of the province of Valencia, with Onteniente as its capital. The name comes from Arabic and means the white one. It borders Costera, Safor, Comtat, Alcoià and Alt Vinalopó.
Farming and a long industrial tradition shape the comarca, and the Onteniente-Bocairent-Albaida triangle is one of the oldest manufacturing areas in Spain. Onteniente is known for textiles, Ollería for glass and Albaida for paper and wax. The Barrio de la Vila in Onteniente keeps its medieval layout, Albaida looks over the valley from a hill, and Benigánim, Ayelo de Malferit, Puebla del Duc and Agullent complete the comarca.
