La Pobla de Claramunt is a municipality in the Anoia comarca, in the province of Barcelona. It sits on the edge of the Òdena Basin at the entrance to the Capellades Gorge, and is dominated by Claramunt castle, which once controlled access to the Llobregat valley.
Together with neighbouring Capellades it is an important centre of paper manufacture. It has a station on the FGC railway line R6, which links Barcelona and Martorell with Igualada, and the C-244 road connects it to Igualada and Vilafranca del Penedès.
