Marina Alta is a coastal comarca of the Valencian Community, in the north of the province of Alicante. Dénia is its capital and largest town. Historically it is also known as the Marquesat, after the Marquisate of Dénia.

The Mediterranean washes it to the north and east, while inland it borders Safor, Comtat and Marina Baixa. Alongside Dénia, the main towns are Jávea, Calpe, Teulada, Benissa, Pego, Pedreguer and Ondara. Together with Marina Baixa it forms what is known as Les Marines.
