L'Espluga de Francolí is a village in the province of Tarragona, in the Conca de Barberà comarca, Catalonia. It lies in the south-western end of the comarca, between the Tallat range to the north and the cliffs of the Poblet forest and La Pena, in the Prades mountains, to the south. In between lie the valley and the Reguer ravine, with fields and vineyards.
The Francolí river crosses the municipality and begins at the Font Major of L'Espluga, where the Sec and Milans rivers meet. The village has a railway station on the Lleida-Reus line, which the AVE high-speed line also uses. The sanctuary of the Holy Trinity stands at the southern end.
