Jun is a municipality in the comarca of Vega de Granada, in the province of Granada, some 5 kilometres from the capital. It borders Granada, Pulianas, Alfacar and Víznar. It lies in the foothills of the Sierra de la Alfaguara, near the Juncaril stream.

Jun is known for its ceramics, today mostly for construction but also artistic, inherited from Muslim times. It belongs to the metropolitan area of Granada. In 2001 it held the first interactive municipal council meeting in the world.
