Get to know Jerez

Jerez is a city in the province of Cádiz, in Andalusia, set on the Campiña de Jerez, a lowland plain crossed by the Guadalete River. Its central position has made it the main transport hub of the province. Winegrowing has long driven the local economy, and the grapes grown around the city become Sherry.

The municipality takes in Los Alcornocales Natural Park and the Sierra de Gibalbín. Grand Prix motorcycle racing comes to the Circuito de Jerez every May, while the Feria de Jerez and Holy Week are the big festivals in town.
