The Province of Jaén lies in the eastern part of Andalusia in southern Spain, with the city of Jaén as its capital. It borders Ciudad Real, Albacete, Granada and Córdoba. It is the world's largest producer of olive oil.

Alongside the capital, its main towns are Linares, Andújar, Úbeda, Martos, Alcalá la Real, Bailén and Baeza. Úbeda and Baeza are World Heritage Sites. The Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park is the largest of its four natural parks.
