Iznalloz is a municipality in the province of Granada, in Andalusia, in the central part of the Los Montes comarca, of which it is the capital. It is the main centre of the Montes Orientales, which group about 17 towns and villages across the north of the province. The Cubillas and de las Juntas rivers run through its territory.
The Sierra Arana mountain range, whose highest peak is just over 2000 m, lies within this area. The municipality has eight population entities: Barcinas, Faucena, El Frage, Iznalloz, Los Montalbanes, Poloria, Terre and Venta de Andar, plus the scattered settlement of Onítar.
