Gondomar is a municipality in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, part of the comarca and metropolitan area of Vigo. It was the hometown of Diego Sarmiento de Acuña, Count of Gondomar, one of the best-known diplomats of imperial Spain and the main driver of the Spanish Match.

The municipality is made up of ten parishes, among them Gondomar, Vincios, Donas, Mañufe, Borreiros, Morgadanes, Peitieiros and Villaza.
