Fuente Álamo de Murcia is a town in the Region of Murcia, in the comarca of Campo de Cartagena y Mar Menor, 22 km northwest of Cartagena and 35 km southwest of Murcia. Locally it is simply called Fuente Álamo. Farming and livestock have deep roots here, and industry is centred on the Fuente Álamo and La Candelaria technology park.

Besides the town itself, the municipality includes Cuevas de Reyllo, Palas-Pinilla, Balsapintada and Cánovas. It lies in the Mar Menor basin, surrounded by the Algarrobo, Los Gómez, Los Victorias and Carrascoy mountains, whose water drains down the Rambla de Fuente Álamo. It is the least densely populated municipality in its comarca.
