Get to know Felanitx

Felanitx is a municipality in the southeast of Mallorca, in the Migjorn comarca of the Balearic Islands, 48 km from Palma. The town dates back to the 13th century, and the municipality reaches down to the Mediterranean. It borders Santanyí, Campos, Porreres, Vilafranca de Bonany and Manacor.

Besides the main town, it takes in Portocolom, s'Horta, Cas Concos d'es Cavaller, Son Mesquida, Cala Ferrera and Cala Serena, among other villages. The highest point is Sant Salvador, at 509 m, crowned by the Gothic monastery of the same name. Santueri Castle stands on another summit, at 408 m.
