Estepa is a municipality in the province of Seville, in Andalusia, in the comarca of Sierra Sur. It is known as the Balcony of Andalusia: it grew on top of the San Cristóbal hill, from where on clear days you can see Seville, Córdoba or Málaga and even the peaks of Sierra Nevada.

It lives from Christmas sweets such as mantecados and polvorones, and from olive oil with the Estepa Protected Designation of Origin. The old Roman town of Ostippo later became a Visigothic and Muslim stronghold, and today the town is a historic-artistic site with viewpoints over the countryside. The A-92 motorway links it with Seville and Málaga.
