El Burgo is a municipality in Andalusia, in the province of Málaga and the comarca of Sierra de las Nieves. It sits within the Sierra de las Nieves natural park, declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO.
In 2025 it had 1761 inhabitants, spread over an area of 117 km². The fair of Saint Augustine, patron of the town, is on 28 August, and on Easter Sunday the Burning of Judas takes place. On the first weekend of August the pilgrimage of the Virgen de las Nieves takes place, and in February the carnival arrives.
