Alto Palancia is an inland comarca in the province of Castellón, Valencian Community, with Segorbe as its capital. It follows the upper course of the Palancia river, which runs through it from northwest to southeast. The natural route between Valencia and Teruel crosses it.

Besides Segorbe, its towns include Altura, Jérica, Viver and Soneja, along with Castellnovo, Navajas and Caudiel. It belongs to the Spanish-speaking area of the Valencian Community. Its neighbours are Alto Mijares, Plana Baixa, Camp de Morvedre, Los Serranos, Camp de Túria and Gúdar-Javalambre in Aragon.
