Get to know Comarca de Valencia

The Comarca de València sits in the centre of the Valencian Community and covers a single municipality, the city of Valencia. It was once part of the Horta de València, which was split as the area grew. Horta Nord and Horta Sud surround it, and the Mediterranean Sea lies to the east.

Beyond the city it has many outlying villages, such as El Perellonet, El Saler and El Palmar. Some of them sit inside the neighbouring Horta comarcas. To the south it includes the Albufera and borders the Ribera Baixa.
