Castelló d'Empúries is a town and municipality in the Alt Empordà, in the province of Girona, Catalonia. It became the capital of the County of Empúries after the move from neighbouring Sant Martí d'Empúries, which was more exposed to attacks from the sea.

Its medieval past brings the Festival Terra de Trobadors each year, with troubadour music, knights' combats and a medieval market. The town lies east of Figueres.
