Carcaboso is a municipality in the province of Cáceres, Extremadura. It lies in the northeast of the Vegas del Alagón comarca, between Montehermoso and Plasencia. It has 1076 inhabitants (INE 2025).
The river Jerte and the Vía de la Plata run through the municipality, and Roman remains survive next to the parish church. The village was founded in the thirteenth century as a hamlet of the Lordship of Galisteo. The municipality also includes the colonisation settlement of Valderrosas.
