Canet de Mar is a town in the Maresme comarca, in the province of Barcelona and the autonomous community of Catalonia. It sits on the coast between Arenys de Mar and Sant Pol de Mar. Textiles, seafaring and tourism have long shaped it.

You will find modernist houses by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and the churches of Sant Pere and the Mare de Déu de la Misericòrdia. The N-II, the C-32 motorway and a Renfe railway station serve the town. Flowers and strawberries are grown here too.
