Its settlements are Porto, San Andrés de Cabañas, Laraje, Eirines, Santa Eulalia de Soaserra, Santa Cruz de Salto and San Vicente de Regoela. In 2025 the municipality had 3287 inhabitants. The territory covers 30.32 square kilometres.
