Brihuega is a municipality in the province of Guadalajara, in Castile-La Mancha. The Tajuña river runs through it. It has 2826 inhabitants according to the INE 2025 figures.

Besides the town of Brihuega, it includes Archilla, Balconete, Castilmimbre, Cívica, Fuentes de la Alcarria, Hontanares, Malacuera, Olmeda del Extremo, Pajares, Romancos, Tomellosa, Valdesaz, Villaviciosa de Tajuña and Yela. In 1710 a hard-fought battle took place here between Lord Stanhope's troops and the Franco-Spanish army during the War of the Spanish Succession. The town also saw violent fighting in the Battle of Guadalajara in the Spanish Civil War.
