Two villages, Bigues and Riells del Fai, form it, along with many housing developments and old farmhouses. It spreads on both sides of the river Tenes, where the river leaves the mountains of the Moianès and starts across the Vallès plain.
The old Benedictine monastery of Sant Miquel del Fai belongs to the municipality. You reach it by road from Sant Feliu de Codines.
