Get to know Benetússer

Benetússer is a municipality in the Horta Sud comarca, in the province of Valencia. Its land area is tiny, and in 2001 its population density was the third highest in Spain, after Mislata and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Through the twentieth century it was an industrial town of furniture makers and distilleries, and services now dominate.

It borders Valencia and Alfafar to the north, Paiporta to the west and Alfafar on the remaining sides. Its streets run close to the centres of Alfafar, Massanassa, Sedaví and La Torre, part of the city of Valencia. The October 2024 floods hit the town hard.
