Get to know Sants-Badal

Sants-Badal is a neighborhood of the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona. It lies between the Riera Blanca, which marks the border with L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Avinguda Madrid and Rambla de Badal, which gives the neighborhood its name.

It was historically part of the Sants neighborhood, and became a neighborhood in its own right under Barcelona's neighborhood law of 2004. It keeps strong social and neighbourly ties with the neighborhoods of the former municipality of Santa Maria de Sants, which was annexed to Barcelona in 1897. It is one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city.
