Get to know Torre Baró

Torre Baró is one of the neighbourhoods of the Nou Barris district of Barcelona, Catalonia. It lies at the eastern edge of the Collserola range, on the Roquetes hill.

In the fifties and sixties it was built up on its own initiative by migrants from other parts of Spain. It plays a prominent role in the film El 47, about a neighbourhood struggle in 1978.
