La Guineueta is one of the original nine neighborhoods that gave the Nou Barris district its name. It covers about 0.61 km² and had 15,373 inhabitants in 2024.

It lies between the Parc Central de Nou Barris and the Parc de la Guineueta. Two large housing estates stand here: one with low buildings to the north and one with Barcinova and Calinova to the south. The name means little fox in Catalan.
