Badia del Vallès, formerly known as Ciutat Badia, is a municipality in the Vallès Occidental, in the province of Barcelona. It borders Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barberà del Vallès and Sabadell, and is part of the Barcelona metropolitan area.
It was built during the 1970s and inaugurated in 1975. Its territory covers 0.9 km², which makes it one of the most densely populated municipalities in Catalonia. It became a municipality of its own in 1994, and its large planned housing blocks stand out.
