Arzúa is a municipality in the southeast of the province of A Coruña, in Galicia, and the head of the comarca of the same name. For many pilgrims, it is the last stopping point before Santiago de Compostela, since the French Way and the Northern Way meet here.
Arzúa is known for its cattle and cheese tradition and belongs to the Arzúa-Ulloa protected designation of origin. The Festa do Queixo takes place on the first weekend of March. The municipality is split into parishes such as Santiago de Arzúa, San Vicente de Burres, Santa María de Rendal, San Pedro de Lema and San Cosme de Oines.
