Avenida de Andalucía, 7. Andújar, Jaén, Andalusia, Spain
Andújar is the largest municipality in the province of Jaén by area, split by the Guadalquivir between the Sierra de Andújar and farmland.
Andújar is a town in the province of Jaén, Andalusia, and the third most populous in the province. It stands on the right bank of the Guadalquivir and on the Madrid-Córdoba railway, with a mix of farming and industry. In the past it was widely known for its porous earthenware jars, called botijos, which keep water cool in the hottest weather.
North of the river lies the Natural Park of the Sierra de Andújar, part of Sierra Morena, while fields and countryside spread to the south. Besides the town itself, the municipality includes Llanos del Sotillo, La Ropera, San José de Escobar, Santuario Virgen de la Cabeza, Vegas de Triana and Los Villares.
