Allariz is a town in the province of Ourense, Galicia, in the Allariz-Maceda comarca. It lies in the middle of the western half of the province, about fifteen kilometres from the provincial capital. The town centre was declared a historic-artistic ensemble in 1971.

The Arnoia river crosses the municipality from east to west, between hills of pine and native oak and a very fertile valley. Its parishes include Santiago and Santo Estevo de Allariz, Queiroás, Folgoso, Augas Santas, Torneiros, San Vitoiro da Mezquita and Os Espiñeiros. The Autovía das Rías Baixas crosses the Arnoia on one of the longest motorway bridges in Spain.
