Get to know Alfaz del Pi

L'Alfàs del Pi is a town in the comarca of Marina Baixa, in the province of Alicante. Tourism drives its economy, and more than half of its residents are foreign nationals, led by Norwegians, who have two Norwegian state schools here. Every year the town hosts a film festival known across Spain.

On the coast lies Platja de l'Albir, a planned seaside community between Benidorm to the south and Altea to the north, built on former citrus and almond groves. The main monument is the church of Crist del Bon Encert, built in 1784, and the pine tree in the church square is the town's symbol.
