Get to know Alcoy

Alcoy is the capital of the L'Alcoià comarca, in the province of Alicante, Valencian Community. After the Industrial Revolution it stood out for textiles, and also for metalworking and papermaking. It is known as the city of bridges.

Ravines shape its streets, and the Serpis river crosses the municipality. On the Bocairent side it reaches the Sierra de Mariola, on the border with the province of Valencia. Its parts include Centro and Batoi.
