Alajeró is a municipality on the island of La Gomera, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It lies on the south coast, south-west of the capital, San Sebastián de La Gomera. It had 2061 residents in 2025 and holds La Gomera Airport.

Its main centres are Alajeró casco, Playa Santiago, Targa, Antoncojo, Imada and Arguayoda. The barrancos and the Atlantic coastal strip are farmed. In the north, mountains are covered by forest and by grazing land for sheep and goats.
